In 30 seconds
Send all changes together, point to the exact place, and say what you want instead of only what is wrong. Corrections to the agreed brief are handled in the round; a different brief starts a new project.
Correction or new round
A correction fixes something that does not match the agreed brief: a mispronounced name, a missing line, a wrong timing. A new round is a change to the brief itself: another tone, another length, a different script.
How to give feedback
- Collect everyone’s comments into one list before sending.
- Point to the place: a timecode, a line number or a sentence.
- Say what you want instead, not only what is wrong: “slower and warmer” beats “not right”.
- Mark what is essential and what is a preference.
What the studio does
The studio reads the list, tells you what it will change and what it advises against, and delivers the next version with a note of what changed.
When it is done
Approval closes the project. If you find an issue afterwards, tell the brand you booked with and it will be looked at.
Quick answers
Who approves the final?
The person who signed off the brief. If several people review, name one who consolidates feedback so the studio receives a single list.
Can the studio reject a requested change?
It can say when a change would hurt the result, and explain why. The decision stays with you.
