Audio localization for every language and accent

Audio carries tone more than any other medium, so it is where a literal translation fails first. We adapt the script, cast native voices and review every language before delivery.

What audio localization covers

  • Advertising and brand voice-over, where tone and accent carry the message.
  • E-learning narration, where clarity and consistency over hours of material matter.
  • Phone and IVR prompts, recorded as individual files in the format the system needs.
  • Podcasts and audio guides, where the voice is the product.
  • Dubbing, when the audio belongs to a video. See video localization.

Accents are part of the brief

The same language sounds different in different places, and the audience notices. Tell us who will listen: their country, their age, and the setting in which they will hear it. We cast a native voice for that audience. The languages page shows where each language is booked.

What to send us

  • The script, final or close to it, in the original language.
  • A reference recording if one exists, for pace and tone.
  • A pronunciation list for names, products and technical terms.
  • Length limits, if the audio has to fit a picture or a time slot.
  • Separate music and effects stems, if the recording has them.

Human or AI voice

For a piece that has to move people, a human voice is usually the right call. For content that changes often, a directed AI voice can make sense. Both are reviewed by a native speaker.

What the review checks

  • Meaning and tone: the adapted line does what the original line did.
  • Pronunciation: names, terms and numbers sound right.
  • Consistency: the same term is said the same way throughout.
  • Technical quality: levels, noise and file format meet the channel’s needs.

How it works

  1. 01

Adapt the script for the ear

Text meant to be heard is written differently from text meant to be read. We adapt it for rhythm, length and local usage.

  2. 02

    Cast and direct

A native voice, chosen for the brand and the accent, is directed on pace, intent and pronunciation.

  3. 03

    Mix and review

Audio is mixed to the format each channel needs and checked by a native speaker before it leaves the studio.

Questions

Can you match a specific accent?

Yes. We work with real native voices in every language and in the accents your audience speaks. Tell us who will listen and where, and we cast for that.

Can an existing recording be localized?

Yes. The best starting point is the script plus the original recording as a reference for pace and tone. If music or effects are mixed in, separate stems make the work cleaner.

Do phone system prompts need different handling?

They do. Prompts are short, repeated and heard in odd conditions, so clarity and consistent tone matter more than flair. We record them as separate files in the format your system needs.

One project, several markets?

If the work spans several services or languages, talk to the studio directly and we will put the right team on it.
